Scholastic Awards alumni go on to do incredible things! Read news about notable alumni below: 

  • Luke Hodges ’11 recently produced the documentary show CASHING OUT, which explores the moral complexities of buying life insurance policies from HIV-positive gay men. Supported by a 2023 Alumni Microgrant, the film was just released by The New Yorker as part of their documentary series. 
  • Tschabalala Self ’08 debuted her first solo exhibition in Australia last month with Skin tight at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art. The show delves into her ongoing exploration of beauty, identity, and the body through bold, mixed-media works. 
  • The Alliance remembers artist, actor, and advocate Robert Redford ‘55 who passed away in September. His creative journey, which began with the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, will continue to inspire for generations to come.
