Ken Burns’ ’71 new documentary series, The American Revolution, aired last Sunday, November 16, on PBS. The six-part, 12-hour series weaves together nuanced perspectives of the eight-year-long war and features voice acting from talent such as Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, and Ethan Hawke.
Richard Linklater’s ’78 latest feature-length film, Nouvelle Vague, was released in theaters across the United States in late October and is now available to stream on Netflix. Set in 1950s France, Nouvelle Vague stars Guillaume Marbeck and Zoey Dutsch as historic French director Jean-Luc Godard and American actress Jean Seberg.
Interdisciplinary artist and Alliance Board Member Derek Fordjour ’92 closed out his solo exhibition Nightsong at David Kordansky Gallery in Los Angeles last month. Installation views of the exhibition, along with more information about the featured work, can be found here.
