On Monday, we announced an ambitious month-long campaign to reach $50,000 for our FIRST Crowdrise campaign by December 2!  In just two days, we’ve seen alumni and friends of the program donate, share our campaign, and encourage their colleagues, friends, family and educators to give to the Alliance so we can continue offering the highest quality programming for teenagers and alumni for years to come. It has been great to take this opportunity to share a little bit more about us and what drives us every day.

In the meantime…here are ways to get involved with our fundraising goal RIGHT NOW!

• Get inspired and watch our video featuring Scholastic Art & Writing Awards alums!
• Donate! Your contribution -in any amount!- changes the lives of teenagers and alumni by providing unparalleled recognition, publication, exhibition, scholarship, internship, and residency opportunities.
• Lead a team of fundraisers like rock star alums: Iviva Olenick; Antonio Pulgarin and Jeanette Anderson. Set a team goal to achieve with family, friends, colleagues and educators. Example goals: $500, $750, $1,000. Remember, it only takes TEN people donating $25 to reach $250 and TWENTY people donating $30 each to reach $600.
• Post about the impact of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards on your life and tag it #myAWaward.
