• Amanda Ba ‘16 is the subject of a profile in Art in America’s Fall 2024 “New Talent” issue. Learn more about the artist and her painting, which appears on the cover of the magazine, here.     

• Micheal Bierut ‘74 was a guest on the DesignThinkers Podcast. Listen to the episode where he discusses his early career in New York City and how it influenced his work at the world’s largest independent design consultancy, Pentagram.  

• Congratulations to Erika Turner ‘08-09 who debuted her first Young Adult novel, And Other Mistakes, last year. The novel was chosen as a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection and was on this year’s Bank Street College of Education Best Children’s Books of 2024. Stay tuned for more books from Erika. 

• The Gordon Parks Foundation is pleased to present José Parlá: Cuba, an exhibition by José Parlá ‘89, which opens on September 18 in Pleasantville, NY. The exhibition is a culmination of Parlá’s 2023 Gordon Parks Foundation Fellowship. Explore the details here.
