Winning an award for a portfolio is the highest honor offered by the Scholastic Awards. Out of the more than 7,000 portfolios entered, only 16 received a Gold Medal and 24 received a Silver Medal with Distinction. The graduating seniors who earned these awards will also receive scholarships of $12,500 for a Gold Medal Portfolio and $2,000 for a Silver Medal with Distinction Portfolio.
