Calling all young writers! Join the Resilience Through Poetry Writing Series

Explore deep feelings through your poetry. This 3-week series will be led by talented young writers and Scholastic Awards winners who have explored difficult feelings like grief and healing through their writing. Continue sharpening your writing skills while exploring new imagery and sources of inspiration.

Sponsored by the New York Life Foundation, this virtual series is free and open to all young people.

Works about grief and bereavement created by teens in grades 7–12 may be eligible for scholarships up to $1,000, sponsored by the New York Life Foundation.

We will meet every Wednesday, 7:00–8:00 pm ET from October 5 to October 19, 2022. Participants will be invited back on Wednesday, October 26 from 7:00–8:30 pm ET to revise their work with peers and writers from around the country. Come every week or stop in when you can!
