APRIL = ARTS & ACTIVISM

Are you curious about how to use your art to change the world? Are there causes you care about that cry out for a fresh and creative approach? For the next week—from April 8 through the 15th , the Gallatin Arts Festival at NYU invites you to explore these ideas and see what young artists, playwrights, and musicians like you are doing. On April 9, for instance, catch the film “A Bird and a Bolt,” about visionary inventor Nikola Tesla, or fasten your seat belt as you see freshman Connor Sedlacek and his team turn the video game Minecraft into a myth-like play! This amazing array of events are all FREE–all you need is reservations. Check out their Facebook page or view this video to see some of the highlights. Enjoy—and let us know what you think!
